Trade.....im assuming that it will have the remaining year and a bit of the manufactures warrenty

If that's the price they are asking for it, then don't pay it. With the Auris out in the wild in a few days, you should be able to use it as a bargaining chip seeing as Corolla's are no longer being manufactured for the UK, so dealers are going to want to get rid of them as fast as possible in order to make room for the Auris.

Yep they'll be shifting the Corolla to make room for the Auris .... so use it to your advantage ;)

Thanks for that guys.....didnt think of that!! B) .......right website had it listed as one previous owner......i had called and asked what sort of cash deal they could do for me.....the best he came up with was 7500.......called me back later in the day to say that the car has actually had three owners...one of which was Toyota financial services....then someone else had it and now they (dealership) have registered it themselves and are using it as a loan car WTF??......with all this in mind would it be advisable to move on and keep looking or see how much lower i can get them???....what do you guys think would be a realistic price reflecting the mileage/owners/age?

The Auris is in Toyota dealers now and you can buy one from next Thursday - you can be very picky on used rollas now IMO
