Hi Everybody,

I have just bought my 5th Celica, its a 95, 202, Gt, import. When I got it 3 weeks ago, it had bald front tyres and didnt feel right but I just put it down to tyres (225/55/16). I had them changed straight away, and its no better. Driving in a straight line it is fine, but when I take foot off accelerater it dives to the left about a foot, and if I brake it dives to the right about a foot. I do think the passenger side front strut spring may be damaged as car is sitting a little low, all bearing seem ok.

Any ideas where to start please.

Book it into a specialist tyre place (ATS, Tyreservices etc) and ask for a global geometry check. That should pick up any problems. Then you can take it from there.

As Dak said... get the alignment check on it. eliminate any issues from there and then move onto sticky disks etc if not resolved.

Yeah follow that advice, also make sure that you service your brakes, get the pads out and make sure your calliper is moving on the pins, sometimes if they are sticking that can lead to pulling, but from whay you say I would suspect your feedback from the geometry check will help you locate some of your problems or eliminate them.
