Recently got my yaris t-sport and tried to replace the airbox with a Halfords universal inducton kit after realising it was a stupid idea I have now put the original box back in with TTE panel filter. However I unplugged the air regulator on top of airbox and the one furtherup connected to the blue thing. I hnow have alak of power in both 2nd and 3rd gears which when gets to about 2/3000 revs the power just drop and like feels like its struggling?? Any ideas??

Probably need to reset the ECU. It'll have gotten used to gulps of air then suddenly realised it doesnt have them anymore. Disconnect the Battery for 10 minutes or so then reconnect and drive normally as you would everyday. Don't read all this rubbish about blasting your car about to make the ECU turn your car into an F1 car as it's all a load of rubbish.

there is only 1 sensor on the airbox.

I don't know what the other thing is you disconnected.

check wires just incase you caught something, or something's not right.

having an air leak could cause a problem aswell.

silly question but you did plug the air regulator etc back in right?

if so take the connectors apart and spray them with a bit of brake cleaner then put them back together. should sort out the problem i hope.

keep us updated.

the ecu is self learning, if you smack it down motoway, when you stop at end of sliproad you will notice very low revs feeling like stalling, so not rubbish really, it changes fueling acording to driving conditions
