Had a bit spare time over the Christmas so started doing a few mod's to the Starlet. First of all I started with the alloys. I have always liked the black alloys with a polished lip look particularly on a white car.

Instead of buying a new set I decided to refurbish the Advan wheels I curently had by powder coating the centres black instead of silver. Fortunatly for myself Envy Performance has a sister company operating in the same building that does powder coating and industrial painting. Here are the results:

Also finally got around to changing my RX7 top mount Intercooler for a Blitz front mount. I think the next step will be to remove the grill infront of the Intercooler to allow better airflow.

After my suscess with the wheels I decided to remove a few bits from the engine bay to have them Powerder coated. I think I may have got a little carried away!;)

Think I will take the blitz intercooler piping off at some point and polish it up. I know I also need to change the Blue silicone couplers for red, its all just work in progress at the moment. I will also wet paint the Fuse box cover and the timing belt cover to match the rest of the engine bay.

Next Job is to fit the Varis bonnet and Jam lip I purchased for myself lets hope its not next Christmas before I get round to it!

Thanks

Car looks awesome Kev

I want it :P

I know you say its a work in progress but I presume your gonna relocate the front number plate seen as its blocking the FMIC.

Keep up the good work. B)

PS What's your current bhp, last time you said it was around 220 without the FMIC ?

Yeah, I am going to cut the grill off the bumper and move the number plate just like the one in the picture you have posted. The car has not been re-dynoed since fitting the FMIC. The car certainly seams more responsive since fitting it. I also removed the aircon system which helped reduce weight.

Thanks

Kevin
