Hi,

First post from me. I have a great little Corolla D4D (2001) and I was wanting to know how to go about draining the fuel filter. Anyone know how?

Thanks,

Scott

turn engine off, leave for about 20mins just in case residual pressure is in the system (although it is low on the pump side of the common rail).

Undo union nuts, then tip up. you will need new seals though on the filter. If you have the type with rubber hoses you can undo the hose clips and then pull the filter out, drain and job done.
