I'll eat anything you care to put on my plate if it looks like that. And it'll probably also top £50 or £60k. So I'm still not interested. :P

Lol... looks soooo nice... but the concept cars always look better than then production cars... why do they do that to us :ffs: I mean the Auris Concept was v.nice, but the production... well... it's still nice, but I would have much prefered the concept... I wonder if I can buy it :rolleyes:

Ah yes the price tag... I was hoping it would be around the £20K - £25K mark... guess I'll just have to keep on dreaming lol. I know what you mean about Toyotas sport range... Hmm.. I wonder what I will get in 3years or so now.

I reckon in 3 years' time you'll be able to pick up a second hand supra hybrid for £40k :Jumpy: hehehe

I'm actually leaning more towards Audi than anything else these days.

Dag nam it... I think at that price I won't bother :( :crybaby: lol

Hmmm.... I had a look at Audi... not too bad... Audi A3 sportback S-Line 2TDI Quattro... v.nice :D What were you thinking of?

Tomorow is the big day :yahoo::yahoo: Oooo... I'm so excited, I'm going to ask if they will leave the car out and give me the keys today so I can pick it up at 12:01 tonight  lol If I do pick the car up tomorow... I probably won't be online as I'll pull a sicky and just got driving woohoo :D If I am online tomorow... it means I didn't pick the car up :( :crybaby: Lmao

RS4 :D Or more sensibly the S3

Good luck with convincing them to hand the keys over today. I'll be impressed if they agree to it.

The RS4 is a very nice car... but only if you have a lot of money to burn on petrol... 20mpg.. hmm... I want something that balances between performace and fuel consumption which is why I like the A3 sportback, not as fast as the RS4 but then 0-60 in 7.6 seconds (fast enough to whoop most cars on the road) and 44-47mpg. Good all rounder.. if I wasn't worried about consumption I would look at something like a Subura or Mitsubishi :D

They like me down there lol... this is the second car I've got from them, so I'm sure with a little arm twisting they may hand over the keys.... why wouldn't they? :D

Throw a sickie!! I'm gonna tell your boss  I on the other hand had booked Thursday and Friday off work :D be prepared.

I'm so, so, so excited, will see my baby tonight when I drop off my car and pay the balance off.

I've found another Auris to be owner, she works at my work, but in another dept. He car won't be ready until April (Ouch) but they are going for a diesel model as they do a lot of mileage.

As for the key's I'd take it at 00:00:01 :)

I can just picture long queues building up outside dealers as people camp out to be one of the first owners. Then after 3 nights of sleeping in the gutter, they finally get to the front of the queue only to realise that Toyota don't actually sell the PS3 :D :D :D

Ooo.. I can feel that 24hr flu bug comming on as we speak :( :D Be prepared, you were a boy scout weren't you ;) :D Kian, your a sliver member... what do you get for being a sliver member and how much did that cost??

Hahaha.... if they don't let me take the car at midnight (or 00:00:01 as Kian's going to do), I'm just going to park up there 2night and sleep in the car :rolleyes: :D

The excitment really is too much... I don't think I can handle it anymore aaaarrrggghhhhh :help::help:

I hope you pointed out the forum to your fellow Auris owner? Sheesh... April, nasty, although we still had to wait over a month. When did she order her's??

Lmao... what do you mean they don't sell PS3's.. dag nam it! :

It's £15 to be a silver member and all the things you "get" are listed here

Cheers MiniMarc.... I wonder if they are going to do the Gold Membership again? I wouldn't mind signing up to one these either the Silver or Gold... would probably prefer Gold though ;)

I'm the same as you. I'm holding out for the Gold or whatever the new variant is going to be. But I'm not confident that it's going to be any time soon. There is a post in GD about it called something like "I didn't even say goodbye" I think.

And I can understand you wanting to go gold as you've just bought a 2 litre gold ear. Good luck to ya  :P

I'm in a very bad mood now :censor: :censor: Just spoke to Mr T and they are telling me the car has been delayed... it may arrive about the 5th! Not happy! :ffs:

I too am now peed off just had a msg left on my ansa machine at home...the car has been delayed.

Edit, Just got back from Mr T, they can't give me any info on why it was delayed, and wont be able to until they speak to Admin at 9am in the morning. P'eed off I am, but the plus side is that I've got to drive an Auris until I get mine.

I still should be tomorrow, but until they speak to admin, can't confirm...why they couldn't do this yesterday is beyond me.

The car is at Brooklands, which isn't too far away from here, and even when it is delivered they still need to put on the paint protection and upholstry protection stuff, and then wait for it to dry out grrrrrrr

What a F*@&$£G Liberty springs to mind!

Posted

For the ones who haven't ordered an auris yet, we are going to have to wait longer for your reviews. The local dealer here has had a load delivered but the cars with extras take longer.

The auris is selling well in this part of the country.

Posted

What... they gave you a Auris to drive.... all I got was a :censor: sorry!!! How come they gave you a Auris??

So even when they have delivered the car you will have to wait a couple of days while they do the post-delivery inspection and other bits and bobs they have to do....

I'm seriously considering telling them I don't want the car anymore, they only have a £500 deposit... was looking at Mazda and Honda today... so maybe I won't be on this forum for much longer!!! I feel they made empty promises to ensure a sale, and am starting to wonder when I really will get the car. I wanted a black Auris with a sunroof but they said I would have to wait till April... well... if it gets delayed and delayed and ends up being the middle of the month... you can imagine how I will feel :ffs: :ffs: :censor: :censor:

Kian..... I hope you didn't pay the balance!

Kian..... I hope you didn't pay the balance!

G

Nope, didn't pay the balance, not until it's all sorted, I think I'll be asking for a discount too, will check out the T&C's about late delivery.

Anyway, just been for a spin in the car, first night time drive, this is a 1.6 TR maunal transmission. I found the indicator on the drivers side was a tad off putting, you could see the glow through the 'triangle window' (feel like playschool) the wipers go the wrong way (start from left to right) I'm used to them going in the opposite way.

I didn't notice before, but tonight when driving along a rough patch of the M3 there was quite a bit of road noise, I guess it's good for keeping you awake.

I also had time to 'fiddle' with the air con controls, the gear stick gets a bit in the way, I reckon this would be annoying at times too.

Maybe I'm just nit picking because I'm so annoyed with all the 'promises' I was told. I'll be counting up the days soon rather than counting them down!

Hi Kian,

Sorry I didn't mean it was standard, I ment that when you order your car, they fit it all at the factory, well at least thats what I've been told. Do you know much about the tech pack?

Grrr :ffs: It's horible having to wait... but I agree with you on getting the '07' plate. Are your Mr T's going to send you a list of all their number plates, on the the 1st of feb, so you can choose which one you want? I know what I want... GO07 .... U know :D Chances are though that they won't even get the 'GO'... what plates are you looking at?

Has any1 else ordered a Auris or are we the only two on here??? B)

G

I've ordered an Auris! TR model - Silver. Was originally told by the dealer I would get it on 9th March, but had a call saying I'm able to collect it on 7th! Well chuffed! :yahoo:

N

EDIT: I suppose the next question is when are companys, such as TTE, going to bring out mods? lol

EDIT: Just found this... http://www.trc-tuning.com/index_shop.htm ... goto Toyota then Auris then Bodykits :)

Congratulations Nicola, I hope you have more success in delivery of yours. I should have had mine now for 1 hour 30 mins (10am) still no word from the admin department, it's only been an hour since they've been there, so could be chasing things on their part?

Posted

Congrats Nicola.... when did you order your Auris?? Yes good luck, hopefully you won't get messed around like us :( :crybaby:

Kian let me know when you hear something, I would be interested to see how it all transpires. You ordered your car a week before me, and yet we had the same delivery date... I'm wondering whether this really was just a ploy to get us to purchase. We shall see, I will phone Mr T tomorow (as that's when he said the car would be delivered), if I get bad news, I'm going to start kicking up a right stink!!! First I want an Auris to drive untill mine is delivered and ready, second, if it keeps getting delayed I will consider taking my business elsewhere, and it's good business at that, this will be the second car purchased from them, or they can give me the car I wanted in the first place (Black and with a sunroof) for the same price... it will be their decision.

:yahoo: 5... are you going to get her to sign up to the forum?? The more feedback the better  When did she order hers??

Nicola.... btw.... I take it your from Wolverhampton? My home town :D

G

By the way found this http://www.prestigecubikrvicing.com/toyota...n=Google_Toyota

So use these prices to haggle your dealership service costs.. I know they are offering a pay monthly scheme (Obviously to stop you going to other dealerships for your service).. might aswell get the best price and keep it local :D
