Cd Changer Stopped Working

Decided to chuck couple of CDs in the 6-Disc changer, which is a toyota fitted one and it wouldn't eject the cartridge.... :o . Then tried to change to Cd on the head unit and it wouldn't do anything!! I can see a red light inside the changer so its getting power.

This all 2 minutes before a prospective buyer was coming to view it. Anyway, manged to agree a sale and i told him how the CD thing just happened today and i'd try to sort it out before he takes it on Monday. I want to avoid having to give him another few quid off.

I havn't used the CD player much recently but last time one of the two discs in it was giving a read error..maybe its jammed?? Also, is there any chance its connected to the alarm? Lost my keyfob few weeks ago but the car still starts with the key. The alarm went off the first ten times but has now stopped sounding. I'm wondering if the alarm being tripped has maybe locked the cd player Can't remember using the CD player since the alram fob was lost either!
