wanting to improve the brightness of my instrument cluster lighting. Does anybody have the info on what size, wattage and quantities you need to replace the standard bulbs to leds. Also is there any advice out there as to where to buy and what colour will have the most impact on brightness? My car is st202 gen6.

cheers for any help

go to ultraleds.co.uk and look for 509 bulbs, get frosted bulbs as these will help make the light spread, sorry i cant help you with how many you'll need as i did it on my mr2 and dont know the differences

I did it with white frosted LEDs. Unfortunately the light was dimmer than the standard bulbs and was very patchy (did not "spread"). I've now changed them back after several months and really appreciate the stock bulbs even if the white did look quite cool. I may just change the green filters on the bulbs to blue ones instead.

There are 3 by the way. Still, not gone to waste as I put them in place of the sidelights. Much better.
