Just wondering, as i mayb planning a turbo conversion in my sr...is it also possible to swap the bumpers, bonnet, boot and light etc to the glanza v??

Think it all changes over, on the front you need to get glanza bumper wings headlights and bonnet to be able to do it and i belive the rear means bumper and boot.

there was a blue starlet i saw with every thing changed. i think for the parts ie front cut i think i heard its about £1000 but i aint sure. try eBay but they dont come up much on there

Yes you can change the whole look of the SR to make it look like a glanza, parts might cost a few notes.

here is a SR that been converted to a glanza, all he was missing was the engine and the side skirts.

The person to talk to about a turbo conversion is Toby from toyota gt turbo . com without any spaces, his SR was a sleeper until he wrote it off, but he's a trader also on the forum who can help you with parts and stuff :) hope it helps.

might just go for buying a glanza looks like alot of hastle to acheive the same. plus engine would b minimum 1250 from fensport :/

any 1 here 18 no no claims and has 1? elephant quoted me 1800 tpft that seems good as others are like 3-4k!!

far as i know theyr the same, that is the early version though, u may prefer the later style

u do not need the wings either theyr the same

Not sure whether the glanza black is metalic, cos the SR black is metalic.

will the front bumper fit without changing the lights or bonnet?

i think theres a jap/import scrappers in sheff, mite have to go take a looky.

No you will have to change the bonnet and the lights iam guessing.

lights look bigger on the glanza so both i guess. and i think wings have to be changed too

I converted my first Starlet SR to look like a Glanza. Pretty straight forward job! I have two wings and a set a headlights if your interested.

I think the bonnets can be had for around £160 new and the indicators are around £30 each. You can get the early spec bumpers for around £100 although the late spec bumpers like mine are around £300. :o I think the bodyshop charged around £400 to paint the lot.

Reasonably easy to do and they look so much better!
