Size Of Core Plugs?

Hi,

My mother in laws Celica has got a problem. As she pulled up at work yesterday, steam was pouring out of the engine and wheel arches. She had the car towed to a garage and they said it needed new core plugs.

The problem is, I can't find any anywhere.

Anyone know where I can get some and what size I need to get?

I've tried fensport and they don't sell them and neither do TCB.

When I tried some local engine places that do sell them they need to know what size they are, and the local Toyota garages don't know what size they are.

They are for a 95 Celica SS-I/II (not sure which it is)

Please help, as the car is off the road and needs sorting ASAP. Thanks :)

Motor factors sell metric & imperial core plugs in various sizes, is there any way you could get the workshop to size the old ones for pattern? it only needs a vernier gauge to do this.

The garage are being a bit of an **** about it saying they are waiting for Toyota to tell them what they need (I don't think they can actually get to them to measure them up) but I've called Toyota and they don't know the size and need the measurements.

Has anyone ever had this issue and know what size they needed to fix it?

Thanks
