I Am Now Car-less

Well I had a Civic Type R for a very short while after my Corolla T Sport and also had an AE86 in the shed ready for welding and prep work for a full respray, but after alot of thinking I made the hard decision to sell up :( I'm more gutted about losing the AE86 than the Civic... I just don't have the time with the car being in Ireland and nothing getting done while I'm away.

As for the Civic - it's a better car than the CTS out of the box, but waaayyy to expensive. My advice: Buy a Corolla TSport, sort out the exhaust and induction kit, then the suspension & wheels and you've got twice the car! It will still end up cheaper, be far rarer on the roads and the insurance is half the price!!! The Corolla kickin into lift also gave me twice the smiles the Civic kicking into VTec did! :toast:

So now I'm getting the train to work... I'll see how long I can stick it before deciding what to buy next

Depends what you want from the car really. I own about 8 different cars, half of which are turbocharged. I got myself an AE92, cost me 350 and within 2 weeks i've spent about £1500 on it (wheels, MOT, TAX, bits n bobs). I could have just bought a good one but that's just not me - I like doing things the hard way :P

Got to admit, my fave car is probably my skyline due to the sheer power and effortless drive, but the AE92....it's different, alot slower, handles worse but is good on fuel - 27mpg is good when you're used to 12-15mpg usually. I'd say try a Skyline or Evo if you can live with the fuel costs. Or a compromise, Starlet GT turbo, 4wd - they are fun :-)
