Just wondering if anyone's heading to the festival this year?

I'm debating it but at £145 a ticket its a bit pricey for me & the missus to go for all 3 days.

but with Maiden & Linkin Park confirmed its looking like a good weekend

I never really looked into going ot download tbh! Has it been any good? Maiden i have seen a bit of live (well most of the band was there) at the guitar show live 2 years ago and were good. Not too keen on linkin park tbh, i only liked the stuff they did with Jay Z. I have got a ticket to reading festival this year but a bit bummed as a lot of the good bands who played last year (which i didn't go to) are unlikely to play this year! That includes muse who i would love to see live! (May be able to get tickets to wembley gig off mate!!) But yeah what's the line up for download so far? What is a typical line up for it?

True Les - Specially ManU tickets

@ Woody

I've never been to download so can't really comment - but i saw Maiden in december for the matter of life & death tour with the original lineup & it was great. & Steve Harris's daughter :drool:

In the words of the mighty wayne campbell shawwwwwing

Rumours are going round on who's playing but Mötley Crüe are looking likely :yahoo:

Dunno - think i'll wait to see who else is on the lineup

I went last year with trivium, korn, metallica and that was awesome! Only thing putting me off this year is that fallout boy and mcr were headlining i believe, and to me download needs to be heavier than that..

But if KSE and linkin' are planned then i might have to go!

Went there last year and it was amazing, speciall Metallica. This year looks good, although Linkin Park's new album (which can be viewed on youtube) is very poor compared to old albums. Wish I could go, specially as Dream Theater are one of my favourite bands, but I have exams unfortuantly.
