I'm going to look at one of these tomorrow. Its a 2005 with 12,000 miles. One service completed. One owner from new.

Anything specific to look out for? I've never driven a diesel before so anything specific to look for in the diesel?

Any idea where the chassis numbers/engine numbers are located?

Its an Irish Sol spec which is equivalent in ways to the UK T3.

How many keys normally come with the new car? I've had a few cars before where they have a few different keys and one is more important than others.

Any other helpful info would be appreciated.

I have just bought a 2006 verso and it came with two wireless key fobs, there is a mechanical key which is slide into to the key fob this key just opens the door in an emergency and locks the glove box.

There is also a key number plate ! There is no ignition key it a push button start

Regarding what to look for I have not owned one for long enough to tell you but all I can say they are an easy car to live with and does nothing do anything badly

Hi this is Ian Shuff(ly), im new to this lark and im just getting into how to use everything on this site.

As far as i know the main thing is to look at the engine spec, the new 2.2 D4D with 6 speed gearbox is reported to be much better than the old 2.0 (faster, quieter and more economical.

Hope thats ok for a first post

ok people thanks for replies.

I made an offer today and it was accepted.

its a 2.0 D as I couldn't afford to splash out on the newer 2.2D, having said that, its ample enough power for my requirements.

Good buy mate, you will love it, I have a 2.0D4D T3 Verso, I have done about 30,000 miles since September 2005, great little engine, I left a Audi TT eating my desiel flumes, so put your foot down hard and fast, and feel it take off, when the turbo kicks in!!!!!

Have fun with your Verso!!!!!!
