Hi jerry! The 2.5 GT one has 280bhp whereas the 4.0 V8 has 260bhp.

Steve, the september issue of Japanese Performance has a buyers guide for the Soarer, could possibly check that out!

nice one mate. there great cars. good that you got a manual! my old man was after one of those, but ended up with the v8 4.0gtl. still nice. hes got it in that pearl white like at JAE. you got the full cow hide interior in it?

and one thing i CANT STRESS ENOUGH. when you get it serviced, make sure that the toyota people turn off the suspension in the boot. the garage have had my old mans up on the lifters more than once with the wheels still sitting on the floor... they drop down about 3 foot and you cant get them back in without a special key.. takes about a week to get from japan. saves you time if you just tell em outright.
