Turbos Probs?

hi all iv just had a new gasket fitted on my turbo and now when i put my foot down i seem to have a little bit of power-hard to tell as the gasket was blowing badly! sounds sweeter! but the pressure gauge on the turbo wont rise over 0 and if i gun it the needle will creep up half a notch but still no power. the dump valve fires but not as loudly as before so im thinking just a loose hose?

yep sounds about right especialy if it was ok before the work was done. just check all the hoses between the turbo and the throttle body. also check the small bore aircon idle up pipe on the back of the chargecooler, it may have been left off

thanks dawsy,is that a zorst flame kit on your rolla? howd you get on with it,are you running it with a cat?

nah thats antilag. dont run it anymore as it makes a mess of your turbo in a very short space of time.

as the rolla is a 1991 car i get away with the need for a cat :) :P

should be but dont drive it too hard until youve checked it out
