Looking For A New Car

Ok folks I'm probably looking at getting another car this year and have sort of decided on either:

1. 5th Gen 2.2 Honda Prelude

2. 1st Gen 1.8T Audi A3

I think I'm swaying more to the Prelude at the moment, but does anyone have any other ideas for potential motors for about 5000 GBP? I will be buying the car from the UK then importing it to Cyprus as cars are so expensive here. Looking for the car to have leather/half leather, all the extras and good reliability

Something sporty, but more upmarket than a Yaris I guess

i would stay away from high mile turbo A3's as there is potential for probs, the prelude is a lovely car, my cousin just bought a 99 red top prelude with 200bhp for 5k. also lots to go wrong as a complex car but its jap so should last well

Out of those 2 i'd go for the Honda too.

but as Gnome said - for £5k there are a lot of cars over here in your budget.

for example - you can get a nice 300zx TT easily for that money or a late spec Gen 6 Celica, or maybe a GT4??
