Does anyone know where the remote receiver sensor is located for the remote central locking? Mine has started playing up over the last few days and im wonderin if its anythin that i might have disturbed whilst carryin out other repairs? Any help would be appreciated, cheers

The remote batteries are fine, i get a nice bright red light when operating the fobs, including the spare. I have removed quite a bit of interior trim recently trying to solve knocks and rattles tho, so i im a bit worried a might have disturbed something whilst doing this. Iv read on previous posts that some toyotas have a problem with key fob reception in certain areas? is there any way to solve this?

Apparently im getting some radio interference in my street which is causing the remote locking to play up. It works fine everywhere else, so i think im gonna jus put up with it rather than pay through the nose for toyota to change the frequency. It seems strange it happenin tho, coz its worked fine everyday since i bought the car up until now. Someone must have installed a wireless router or somethin nearby, the b**tards!
