Well my new Yoko tyres have arrived and the alloys are in the spray shop, should have em back next week!

A mate said i should get some wheel spacers put on when i fit the alloys as they bring the wheels out and make the care look 'meaner' lol. quite like the idea and ive seen them on eBay pretty cheep, but just wondering what anyone things of them and if there are any possible problems.

Cheers,

James

ps. they are 17" 5 spoke MVK alloys if it makes any odds.

plenty of problems with spacers, get one too big and you run the risk of moving the wheel off the centering hub which will put all the strain on the studs and WILL snap them.

also it is an offence to have the wheels stick out beyond the wheel arches.

I do have spacers on mine on the front but that's to stop the rubbing on the inside of the arch, as they are a little wide! But i think the spacers on mine are about 8mm.

I've got H&R hubcentric spacers on the back of the four. No danger of them not being centred properly. 25mm each side. Makes a difference cosmetically and handling wise.
