Another 4ws Problem

The warning light for the 4ws came on the other day and found some info on here

about tracing the fault, I connected TC and E1 in the diagnostic box

but the warning light didn't flash or any other light for that matter,

so I can't get a code to narrow it down,I've checked the connection and it was fine, also the sport and 2w rev

indication lights stay one regardless of the button positions, I had a

look at the sensor at the front wheel and was led to belive that it was

a pig to get out, but this one just slipped out but the sensor was

covered in dirt and looked like it had been hit on the end with a

hammer. The front and back wheels both steer in the same direction all

the time even in reverse, I've read this is common when it is a sensor fault. What

I would like to know is, am I doing the diagnostic bit right and if not

how do you do it and also where would I get a sensor and how much are

they? I would be grateful for any help at all.
