Silver & Gold Servicing

After umming & arring, I just phoned to book my car in for it's 60K/6yr service. Quoted £240 for a full service .

I questioned the things they do for that sort of money as it's now 6 years old with 47k. They informed me that once a car is out of it's warranty you can have an Intermediate, Silver or Gold service instead.

I've booked it in for a Gold service, which involves everything a full service would appart from the brake fluid change (which my Hubby has kindly offered to do free of labour charges!) for £140. They do all the checks and give you a stamp (although not in the servicing book).

Why don't Toyota (well my local one anyway) make this more well known?

Let's hope they don't take any paint off the bumper this year
