Noisy Fuel Pump

Hi everybodody!

Does anybody how to make a Diesel fuel pump of a Corona TD make less noise???

Also I've seen that diesels gear boxes are noisy too, specially when idling og pulling hard. So DO I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THAT OR WHAT???? :blink:

If anyone knows how to fix this, I'll aprecciate it :)

are you talking interior sound vibrations or overall exterior noise

Hi!

I'm referring to the engine noise, the clack-clack of the engine, even when it is warm. I remember when I bougth it ( 35000 Km ago) was not so noisy.

Should I go to a dealer to service it? or is there anything I can do

it could be your tappets or your lifters they can be adjusted but if you dont do it right it will cause more clacking in the engine and might cause some damage my suggestion would be to take it in and ask the garage to check these points and get there opinion on it
