the mg is not my ideal car, she has lost loadsa money on it in the 3 years and if she sells it me cheap then i wont lose much money when i come to sell it.

good points though. i will see what happens with my car then i spose i will consider the mg

i would be careful with a view of the MG not losing much money from now on

parkers say this car new is about 12k, 3 years on its worth 4.8k with averge millage which is a shockingly high loss. it is likely if you keep this car for 2 years that it will be worth virtually nothing so you will still lose money. in the case of depreciation, the ago will lose 49% of its value after 3 years(from an article i read sumwhere) so there would be little difference in the amount you would lose.

saying that it will be easier to get parts etc for the aygo and easier to sell as its a good car.

the MG prices above were for a 53 plate 5dr 1.8 with 30k millage.

personally i would steer clear from the MG

My neighbour had an mg. He said it was like driving a tank and now he drives a focus.

MG ZR ... the company is out of bussiness, expensive insurance, expensive to run, not the most reliable car

But my god what a car! i mean just look at it, It's the hottest Hatch ever!

Try and get parts for one - especially if you have a prang.

ok you have twisted my arm i am steering clear of MG. My sis reckons she paid 16k for it with lots of extras , whether i beleive that or not is a different story lol! she want me to buy it for 4,700.

i just want a car, maybe i will get a metro!lol

personally having owned an mg zr for a year i would say "stay clear" I had mine 3 weeks and the headgasket blew a common fault as lots of people know. Just recently it started blowing blue smoke on start up. They all also pretty gutless due to the weight and being under powered and generally crap build quality. My advise would be stick with the aygo!

cheers. i know my sis has had her fair share of probs with the engine and central locking system.
