Morning all...1st time poster. I get my new Aygo black on the 16th March and am very excited!! Have read some of the posts about mats and stuff, but was just wondering if anyone had any advice.

I'd like to get pink mats, which funnily enough Toyota don't do officially :P so will the kind of generic small car ones easily found on eBay fit...even if not perfect?

Also, is there anywhere that does seat covers for Aygos? I know they've got side air bags, so normal seat covers will stop them working, but the only covers I've seen for SRS cars are vile!!! Does Toyota do any official ones that I can customise?

Can't wait to wake up and look out onto my drive and see my lovely new aygo instead of my rusty 11 year old micra! Yippee!!

look on eBay for mats there are loads under peugeot 107 i think iv even seen sum pink ones too. :P just i had universal mats when i first got mine and they kept sliding under the pedal so its a bit bad!

The seats are nice anyway dunno why ud want to cover them up but the air bags are there for a reason so they can't really be covered up!

but anyway welcome to the club, everyones really friendly and hope you are happy with your Aygo when you get it!

Cool, cheers Matty. I was hoping to get seat covers to sew pink ribbons onto - yes I'm a big girl and I like pink and black!! :P

But may relent when I actually get my hands on the car - think I'm just used to the nasty grey interior of my micra where I've tried to cover everything in sight!!

Can't wait to post some pics of my new car - with me grinning from ear to ear next to it!! :D

aw cool cant wait, well if you know what your doing u could always take the seats out and re-trim them.

Yep, it's a 3 door. It'll be far too nice to have all my scuzzy friends lounging around in the back...so I don't want to encourage them by giving them their own doors!!

We bought some aftermarket mats - I knew I should have 'borrowed' the ones in the test drive car boot!

The ones we bought can be trimmed to fit and I made a hole in the drivers side one so it fits over the lug attached to the carpet and doesn't slip.

Cool, thanks daveyip. I quite like the Urban X car mats which I've found in pink - I live in the country so rubber ones definitely make more sense - don't want to clog up my washing machine with car mats every week!! I'm sure I can cut those to fit, and if I can get it to fit onto the bolt like you did, all the better!! :D

welcome to club..pink with a black aygo...would love that! best colours, I got the official toyota aygos ones which are good but quite epensive, as for seat covers I am still looking, someone did have some fab aygo made leather i think ones on here which would be great.

Although pink leather seats might make me look a bit like a pimp!!! :blink: Although if you do find any seat covers, can u let me know so I can look into it? Am pretty handy with a sewing machine, so am quite happy to alter any plain ones to create my own pink haven of lovelyness!!

I've got some pink mats now, and some pink star decals to stick on the doors, and even a pink star keyring to complete the look! So am quite pleased so far...just need the car now!!! Although Mr T did say this weekend when I went to sign papers that they might get it delivered sooner rather than later, so it could be with me as soon as 5th March....how exciting!!!! :D :yahoo: :D
