Altenator And Air Con Removal

Hi, im working on a friends GT4 and cannot seem to get the altenator off (pesky soft bolts have rounded) . Do i need to remove the alt from the block/alt carrier? Or is there any cheat way. Its freezing and im already bleedy out the back of my hand so could do with this being done quickly.

Or is there a quick way of getting the air con unit out (its seized) ??

And I think the air con is the culprit for the windows/c locking not working (blown fuses?)

Im not a mechanic, just trying to help him out, but if anyones got any hints that would be wicked.
