Boost Problems, Help Needed!

Hey all.

My st205 import has an APEXI avcr set to 1bar boost on high boost setting (A) This morning it wouldn't go over 0.8bar and dropping off to 0.7.

Its been fine untill this morning.

Not sure if the boost controller can lose its settings (although setting B hasn't changed).

Bit stressed, as am wondering if the turbo has given up and can only produce 0.8 bar

Have checked the pipes and all seem on tight and secure.

Have actually checked the boost settings on the boost/duty menu and the setting A was just 4 asterix's, have re typed in 1 bar, but is still the same.

Please, any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers. Will check it tommorrow.

Am gonna try and pressurise the system with the car not running. Not sure how to do this, but i'm sure I'll figure something out.

Any ideas how to do this safely, I've got a compressor with an accurate regulator, and some good stuff for checking for leaks, so hopefully I'll not break anything.

Am hoping that with the ignition on I will get a boost reading on the boost controller when I pressurise the system.

Does anyone have any stromg reservations about this technique?

Thanks again

Hey all.

Had my car checked out again today, it appears to be a massive money eating machine.

All seemed fine. the dyno operator let me in the car to set up the boost controller, and I managed 306 bhp at 1.1 bar boost.

All fuelling is fine (even rich at 1.1 bar) :)

I have flattened out the boost curve, and the car feels awesome out on the road.

Am again a happy bunny.
