Went with my dad to have a quick look at some cars at Inchape Nottingham on Saturday with no intention to buy anything... a few hours later he put a deposit down on this 2 month old Avensis D4D T180 demonstrator :D We were both quite shocked He saved a good chunk on a new T4 that he was interested in and they gave him a pretty good price for his 2001 Avensis.

It's a lovely car, the salesman let us both drive it and I was very impressed. It's got 3k on the clock and still feels very tight.. how long do these engines take to free up??

Anywho, he will be picking it up in a few days it's just a shame he's got over 50's insurance so I can't borrow it

Nice choice of car, hope your Dad enjoys his new Avensis. My T180 Tourer is now approaching 15,000 miles (new in October 2006!! :o ). It was nicely loosened up by 10,000 and now it fairly flies .

Shame about the insurance restriction :( Looks like your Dad is a canny fellow!
