Just for show. The T-Sport doesn't go fast enough to need downforce!

Hmmm TRD one looks rubbish in some view imo as it doesn't quite match up to the car but looks like it should :P Quite cool in some views though

Hey all,

the spoiler doesn't really produce 'downforce', it just reduces the lift generated from the air leaving the top of the car by delaying the flow seperation. 'Complecated aerodynamics' but most factory designed rear wings reduce the lift on the rear of the car at high speeds, but unless you've got a wind tunnel its unlikely that you'll get as good an effect from an after market rear spoiler as the factory kit.

Most aftermarket rear spoilers just increase the drag of the car with out doing much to the lift of the car.

Hope that may help to explain it, or maybe just confuse people.
