Help Need

hi all, first time post, and i am after some much needed advice.

i currently have a T3S (2006 new shape) which has the maunal air con, but i wish to upgrade to the aircon unit that are supplied in the T3X -T4 - Tspirit. this is the automatic version, with the dual control.

the manual air con unit on my car has the dials, and switches. it is exactly the same size as the automatic version, but if i were to change this, will it fit?

is it possible to adapt to the automatic version, with out to much work.

any help or advice will be very welcome.

Can't say I know too much about it, but I do know the climate system takes data from two sources-cabin temp and light. Sometimes manufacturers will build cars with the wiring in for all the gizmos as its cheaper than building wiring for this model and that model (e.g. Audi put the wires in its door mirrors for heating but depending on which model you have they are connected to an element or not, so its easy to swap non-heated glass for heated).
