I managed to chip the rear-hatch today, and I fear that the door might go all togheter if I'm really lucky, so, what is you guesstimate for a new hatch?

The rear hatch is all glass, so if you're lucky you could have autoglass replace it. Your widscreen excess is only likely to be £50 or £60 and it won't affect your no-claims.

It's chipped on the inside, I smacked it onto a metal-toolbox. Insurance won't cover that.

Got a quote today.

NOK 3324,- (~£250) + fitting.

Insurance will cover it if it breaks completely - how do they know how it broke if its in thousands of pieces?
