Blew My Engine!

Hi guys, yes just found this site and it is great. I just blew my engine, ( broke an engine rod, threw the oil pan) :(

Oh well, this celica is my daily driver so I don't really care about power... I just want it to go from A to point B. I heard about the 2.0l that is cheaper to change thaN THE 2.2L.

Where could I find the swap procedure, or what do I have to change for this swap. Or even if you can give me the manual shop or any info related on the net . Or I'll pay more and get another 2.2L.

Thanks guys, talk to you later

I think it would be alot easier for you to stick with the stock engine. I dont know a whole lot about your car, but if your doing the work yourself you dont want to get tied up in wiring problems. that stuff sucks. i had to solder two connectors just doing a stock swap from a 94 to a 97 7a-fe.

sorry about your car, mine did the same thing while i was going 85 mph, not fun.

Yes that is what I'm going to do. Yes I'm going to do it myself, hope it is not to long, it's my daily driver. I wish I could use that time and money on my other project!!!!

Thanks
