Hi Everybody.

After years of being a car / bike / trike enthusiast,

I was sick of paying through the nose for insurance for petrol, tax, insurance etc.

Took the plunge and bought a Smart For Two.

After 2 years of ownership, I'm converted to small fun cars.

Brim the tank without looking at the amount every time. (Used to start sweating on other cars when it went past £50.00)

My Smart was no trouble but I've always worried about reliability.

(Plenty of horror stories on the forums).

SO..........

On monday I collect my new Aygo.

I've bought an Aygo +

Metallic Carbon Quartz (More money please).

MMT (Even more money please).

Air-Con (We like customers like you SIR!)

To sweeten the deal, the dealer had some delivery mileage Sport alloys from somebody who upgraded to Larger alloys.

He's putting those on free.

TOTAL COST......£8005.00

Gave me a good trade in for my Smart.

Mods....

I've been to the local Peugeot dealers today and ordered....

Instead of buying the Tom Tom Toyota kit, I bought (from Ebay) a permanent docking kit

to use my own TomTom £25.00 inc. delivery! A simple plug'n'play job.

One Question......

Do Aygo drivers flash / wave etc?

Having the Smart reminded me of the old "Beetle" days.

Another smart convert here - baby means a fortwo is no good anymore! No evidence of mad flashing waving etc so far.

Aygo is what the forfour could have been.

Well, if I ever see you I'll be flashing and waving! I miss that feeling of having a old mini - and the new mini has just ebcome wayyyy too commercial - so I think Aygos are the new cult cute car of the future! I love mine anyway!!

No, I don't know Fi.

I drove about in my For Two waving at people all over but I seemed to get blank stares in Sheffield.

I'm now driving about in my Aygo waving and getting very little response.

I'll be waving like a loon. I must get my name on some kind of 70's sun strip on the car!

I'm planning on moving from a Smart to an Aygo too (although the landlord telling us he wanted us out has kinda put the breaks on that one for about 6 months!!)
