Dashboard Lights

I have a 1998 toyota corolla, and recently when i put in a new cd player the dashboard lights stopped working when i turn the switch my outside lights work fine, so do my signals,and door light, but the dashboard, or lights around gear shift do not work, could it be a fuse if so what is the abr. for interior lights in the fuse box?

if you installed the stereo urself, how did you connect to the harness in the car? did you plug in the apadtors or did you snip the wires and join them that way? cos if the latter, then pull the stereo out again, and make sure there are no exposed wires... cos a even a small gap could cause a fuse to blow...
