Yes I know there are numerous topics and pictures about relocating the apexi, but i cant for my life work out how the hell you have turned the Battery round. where have you people put the brackets that clamp the Battery down and what did you do about the red plastic bit that covers the positive terminal. also how did you extend the earth cable? did you just bodge it by cutting it and adding an extra bit in or did you have to buy new connectors etc? any help much appreciated im so confused and going a bit crazy

When i did mine i got hold of a polished alloy Battery tray from an evo 6,

my Battery fits perfect inside it and clamps to the tray.

my red cover for the live fits.

And as for the earth wire, we used an earth wire from an evo to extend mine.

However some people on here have said they just stretched the earth wire to fit

I had a tray custom made and the brackets that hold the Battery go under the tray so the Battery pushes down on to the tray when the brackets are screwed up.

I also have the Battery tray screwed down to the thin plate that's under the battery already to stop the tray from moving around.

It's easy enough to fit the red casing for the positive wire, the wires are long enough and the loom comes from the right hand side anyway. Just place your tray close enough the wires will stretch but far enough that the bracket doesn't catch the bodywork.

As for earth wire I bought a 600mm wire from tweeks and some new terminals. I used part of the old one and replaced the other.
