Headlight Bulb Connection

Hi Guys, I have a melted headlight bulb connector on my '91 Celica (Passenger side). Unfortunately, I think this is going to have to be replaced.

My problem is that I dont know where this cable goes to (I can only see so far down the light cavity after taking the headlight unit out), or how long it is. Ideally someone will reply and tell me it is only a few inches long and connects up with a simple plug or similar?!

I have looked at an electrical wiring diagram and the connector # is H1 & or H2 (Brown) and appears to have 3 metal connections which the bulb slides in to.

Any advice appreciated.

I had a look under the bonnet again this weekend, and the wiring loom that seems to go somewhere near the NS light that is out, does actually have several small cables coming from it - so I am now a bit more optimistic that this cable / connector can be replaced - please help !!!!

you should be able to replace the plug with three crimp on spade terminals and just push them on to the bulb providing you have enough cable left.
