Ive read in a post somewhere, that nick-johnson (now a cts owner) had his yts's ecu remmaped. I dont no where he had it done or how much it cost, but proves that it can be done i guess.

No i think you miss read that. He was considering getting the ecu remapped but he didn't in the end. He decided to get a cts instead. His old car was sold on to his mate and i dont recall him saying that the ecu was remapped.

Hi ya mate, yes I did have a YTS and did get the ECU re-mapped and a good friend of mine now owns it but unfortunately last night he managed to blow the engine up. We are awaiting the reason for the engine failure and I promise I get back to you but I would just hold fire for the time been.

why did the engine blow up? i had been told the yaris engine was quite weak. does anyone know if the YTST internals are the same as the YTS?
