Hi all,

I have been reading this excellent forum for allmost a year now and thought I should do the decent thing

and register as a member.

Having allready done the back door checkstrap now looking to do a bit of tinkering again (spring is just

around the corner). I have been itching to fit parking sensors for some time and have watched eagerly

to see if Pipps has come up with a location for middle sensors. I have thought about fitting the chrome

bar at rear and fitting middle sensors to this.

Opinions please.

Dave, Welcome.

Be carefull you don't put them too low or their range may be effeted and they may give false signals. Rich.

Rav man, thanks for your welcome/comments.

The rear bar I was thinking about was'nt the Toyota OEM one, its the one from Direct 4X4

which is a double. The top part is very close to bottom of back door which I thought might

just be high enough without giving a false reading from spare wheel cover.

Cheers.

Dave, this sounds ok as it should be far enough away from the floor, perhaps see if you can get hold of one of the cheaper kits from an accessory shop . Some plug into the cigarette lighter . Blue tack the sensor in place and try before you buy. Rich.
