Radio's electric antenna gone kapoot

So...I walk over to my '91 Toyota Celica and low-and-behold, the antenna never retracted from the last time I finished listening to the radio. It's out and about and saying "HELLO" to the world, while it should be down and snug as a bug where it belongs. I give it some juice and the motor's a-whirlin' but the antenna is not budging.

So I remove the entire assembly and open up the gear housing. Just as I had suspected, the plastic toothed strip that runs up the mast has been cut, torn, severed - choose you favorite verb.

Here's the question: Can I simply purchase a new strip or do I need to fork over a wad for a whole new motor?

Thanks for any and all help!:)
