Service Oils And Others

Right, cars being serviced this week, got a rare 5 dr phase 1, and i wanted to know, if i was to put oil in it, which is the best to get, and how much shud i buy. I wud preffer buying from envy but whereever. Also if i took my own oil with me, i shud in theory get charged less for my servicing. I do a hell of a lot of motorway miles if that helps in picking the right oil.

Also are there any other items which i can get which wud be better than the toyota stuff, i dont know what else they put in on a 60'000 mile service. Money isnt so much a problem when it comes to the oil, just so long as im getting the best for my car.

I believe using fully synthetic 5w - 40w oil is best, as it works better on colds days which is pretty much all the time in UK!

I have Shell oil if that helps!
