Hi,

l have been reading that its an easy little mod to do to the T-Sport but l was wondering doesnt it drag in more warm air from the engine and then feed it into the engine surly that going to be worse for the car??!!

Also im looking at making a cool air scoop for the car and getting a nice induction kit, first l was wondering where is the best place to fit a cool air duct so it doesnt collect up all the crap from the road and throw it on my air filter . Second l want an induction kit manly for added performance not the extra noise whats the best one for that???

Also im thinking about a strut brace l have a 51 plate rolla and does it really make that much diffrence ???

And finally has anyone tryed to put amsoil fully synthetic racing gear box oil, ow my god !!!!! What a diffrence !!!!

Your best fitting some hose from the front of the car upwards to the area of the air filter! You'll have to get some good stuff that will resisit heat as the intake manifold gets hot! Word of wanring don't get a Cold Air Intake! I tried it and failed misserably! I bought an AEM Cold Air it would have fitted, but!!!! The euro corolla has very little space in the front left bumper casing, and the fact the T Sport has fog lamp made it even worse!

So I had to cut it in half! Slightly botched but its good! :yahoo: ! So i think all cold air filters are going to have this problem so just a warning!

As for filter, everybody recommends the K&N typhoon, which is what i should have gone with! But i like to be different! Blitz do a kit for the corolla too, that is supposed to be good! From my experience no matter what filter you put on it is an improvement to the car! With the aem filter on mine, the car is more responsive throught the rev range!! and you definately notice it when you put the stock box back on (something i had to do this weekend as rolley has to go to the garage! :crybaby: , as its a problem with the car don't want mr t saying its the filter thats causing the problem even though its not, but we all know what Mr T can get like!) Anyway... i would definately recommend gettin a kit, or removing the bottom off the stock box which some people have done!

Another word of warning... Petrol will be bad for a few tanks as the ecu maps itself to the increased air flow!

Hope this helps!!
