Intermittant Alarm Probs

Hi All,

Got a funny Q...Car alarm has started to play up outside the house in that it wont respond to the remote to turn the alarm off and unlock the doors.

Move the car 100m away and all works fine.

Same also happens with the neighbours Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot and Porsche...So i know it's not just may car.

RAC have been round and confirmed there is interference from somewhere, but they cant tell what (other than radio) or more importantly, Where it's coming from.

I know we have 2 phone masts within the close vacinity, but they have been there for a while...

Spoke to Mr T who said they cant do anything, as it's probably interference.

Anyone have any idea's where I can look to find info out?

Cheers

You could try reporting it to the council and tell them you suspect there is a pirate radio station operating in your area. With luck they might send out the tracking van and actually pinpoint where the interferance is coming from - even if it turns out to be something else.

Didnt get an email telling me I had a reply

Anyway - Fixed! Was the next door neighbours wireless doorbell; the button on the button was stuck, so transmitting all the time
