hi. im fitting an aftermarket rev counter to my 94 corolla sportif. im not very good with electrics but ive worked aout most of the wiring except one. on the instructions theres a wire thats to be connected to the negative terminal of the coil, as far ias i can see, the coil and dizzy are all one unit so basically ive no idea which wire i have to connect it to. im having a look at the wiring diagram to see if i can work it out but im not the sharpest knife in the drawer so prob end up giving myself a headache. can anybody shed some light please? its the 4E-FE engine by the way. (i think)

thanks. :)

ok. ive just been out and had a look under the bonnet. as far as i can see the coil an dizzy pack has 2 multi-plugs going into it. one plugh has 4 wires, the other has 2. from what i can disect from the haynes maunal the 4 plug is for the dizzy and igniter and the 2 plug is for the coil. before i start pulling and chopping away, is there any way i can test with a multi-meter to make sure that the 2 plug is in fact the poss and neg for the coil? thanks.
