My First Service

Had my first service, I went over a bit on the mileage (took it to them on 14 000) but they were fine, its still under a year old.

Service was ok, there going to replace my boot button this weekend, as its sticking.

Clutch was unusually high, which is strange as I never ride on or burn the clutch. They told me to keep an eye on the clutch and if I get any problems get back to them, worried it will end up breaking after the warrenty. I dunno if this problem could be in relation to the clutch/gearbox problems other Aygo owners are having?

Both back tires will need replacing shortly, about 2mm of tread left

Brake pads - used about 40%

Passenger door also started clicking a week ago, a bolt just needed tightening.

They also did a saftey check on the car ie seat belts, etc...

Oil n filter change, ended up costing £96.50 all in, even the rubbish car wash, which included the exterior and the car mats only! I also waited 2 hours when it should have been just 1 hour. I'll stop moaning now, they we're still very friendly and helpful!

New back tyres after only 14,000 miles - are you taking the handbrake off? I've never replaced the rear tyres on a front wheel drive car before 40,000 miles.

I got my first service on the 23rd and its going to cost approx £125. I have a feeling I might need brake pads though.

I thought you could pay up front for 5 years servicing on the Aygo (a big deciding factor in choosing my next car as I had it on my MINI Convertible and not on my Smart and now looking at a £238 bill for a service on what is supposed to be a cheap car!)

been meaning to post about my first service so might as well do it here, I did get the service plan when buying the aygo so my first service cost £0, they took it back in a day or so later to fix the button boot which I pointed out to them and they spotted that my hazard light button was all cracked?? i hadnt notice but it was..weird.. they let me have a brand new yaris to drive for the day which was great fun, the speedo is a counter which was weird..but cool. but am sticking with my aygo, speaking of breaks they didnt mentioned anything to me at the garage (was terrified they were going to tell me to stop ragging it cos I was ruining it) but they didnt but it went in with squeaky breaks and I thought they might look at that at the service but noticed today as sun was shining had window down and they are still squeaking? is there anything I can do should I take it to garage or well they just look at me daft?

Just booked mine in for its first service. Only £83. I just love this minimal cost motoring :D . Everything used to cost £££ on my old car.

Just got my Yaris back from its 20k (well, 16 and a half really) service and there's at least 5mm on each tyre.

Actual cost of first service was £92. Was told that after this the next 2 services will be around £120 then £140. Seems a bit strange as in my last car the service was minor or major, not a sliding scale.??
