hi folks i have a new avensis 2.0d4d 6 speed ( luna spec , electric folding mirrors, cruise, climate etc)

do you know if its possible to have the mirrors automatically close once i lock the car using the keyfob?

also is it possible to set the doors to automatically lock once i drive off?

do you know of any other (hidden) features, not mentioned in the manual?

Not sure what a Luna spec is but I've a T3-X 2L with folding mirrors. They don't fold automatically unless they have been physically moved. So if they are out and you leave the car then move them manually to in (i.e. folded in), then get back in and switch on - they will return to the out position. Ditto for the other way.

As far as I know the only automatic locking is when the car is stationary and it thinks you've "forgotten" to lock it!

Best thing is to Read The Friendly Manual and experiment.

True. Before I switch the engine off I press the button to retract the mirror, then turn off then engine, then press the button again. This way when I come back to the car and restart the mirrors pop out again.

Its just getting into the habbit of this procedure!

I guess you could use the remmote wire and a releay of some sort.

but just press the button ;) far easier
