Idle Running & Antistall

This problem has only dev recently

My idle Idle revs are not falling back properly when waiting in traffic some times they remain at 1500-1000 revs before falling back to 500 after about 10 seconds.

The whole accelerrater pedal feel seems to lag behind my input some how, when letting of the gas and seems slow to react, is this the ECU?

I know this is not normal and no I do not have the air con on when it happens.

I have recently changed plugs, new air filter, new oil, and an injector flush (forte) was done, cleaned the MAF sensor also (very carefullly) but all to no avail as it still happens.

Also checked the accelerrater cable but there is nothing obvious wrong with it.

There are no engine warning lights on the dash.

What could be causing it? as I am stumped at the moment and it's p*ss*ng me off know
