Standard Stereo Pin-out To Cinch For Bass Amp.

Hi everybody.

Finally collected my Aygo.

Have started modding.

I have a bass amp and sub enlosure from one of my other cars.

it has line-out level inputs with cinch connectors.

I bought one of the yellow blocked ISO to cinch connectors. but.........

I'm sure I read somewhere on this site that the pin-outs on the standard AYGO stereo

aren't active. I can't find the thread again.

before I start taking things to bits, could somebody please confirm if the yellow ISO block

actually does anything?

As far as anyone knows (and /or has tested) the Mini-ISO doed NOT work.

So you're down to using high-level inputs, a convertor

from high-level to line level or an aftermarket radio.

heres what i have, (copied off Alex - BadBoyVtech)

has both High-Level (speaker out from cd player) and RCA inputs

and amplified (200watt) High-Level outputs for the Speakers

also has an RCA output for a subwoofer which has a bass filter build into it

£40 of eBay and is really good

you just use the cd player as normal apart from the front and rear fader (cos it only needs the front speaker outputs from the cd player)

I'll either have to get a converter or find out

where I put the High - level input lead for my amp.

I think I threw it away as "I'll NEVER come across a stereo without phono-out" what use will this be?
