i ran 18s on my 202 and it was lowered 40mm

i now run 17s on my 205 with 215/40/17 Eagle F1s

No trouble on either setup ;)

205/45/r17 on mine (lowered).

I forget what each of the numbers relate to, but is 215 a larger diameter overall? In which case, you'd have an effect on your speedo's accuracy and give it kind of longer gearing?

I don't know from experience myself, but I've heard some people say that over 17 will start to effect the ride comfort.

For a 205/45/R17 tyre, the 205 means the width of the tyre is 205mm, 45 is the wall height/width ratio, i.e. the tyre wall is 0.45 x width = 92.25mm high. The total rolling diameter is therefore 2*92.25mm + 17". If you increase your rolling diameter your speedo will underestimate your speed, decrease your rolling diameter and your speedo will overestimate. However the change should be slight and no speedo is particularly accurate.

Hope that makes sense!
