Erratic Idle On Yaris D4d

Hi recently my car has started idle erratically. it starts fine but after the choke seems to come off. the engine idles low and sounds like its hunting. if i increase the revs it blends out. there is a gold diaghram on the left hand side of the engine which connects to what i assume is an inletvalve after the intercooler. during the idle problem this is traverling through its full range back and forth. no engine warning light has appeared.

sorry for my description but it is the best i could come up with

any help would be appriciated

Mike

hello mike,If the car is still covered under warranty take it to the toyota dealer. If not,you may wish to remove the throttle housing to remove the build up around the egr bypass.be sure to clean the cylinder head port aswell.hope this helps regards jason. ;)
