Steering Knocking.....

Hi I am hoping someone can help...

I noticed the steering on my ST205 was starting to get a bit dodgey and there was knocking coming from front and back..... I saved up my pennys and have replaced all lower suspension arms and fig 8's and got uprated top mounts all the way round.....

The good news is there is no heavy knocking noises anymore, However the steering still does not feel 100% and still seems to wander a bit if going over bumpy road.... I have noticed that if you wobble the steering wheel when stationary it does have a light knock :!Removed!:

Does anyone have any ideas as to why it is still not playing the game. I am praying it is more simple & cheaper than the steering rack!!!!

Any help would be much appreciated..

Could this be a CV joint on the way out, does it make a clicking noise on full lock either left or right? If its knocking in a straight line this would suggest imminent CV joint failure

someone else my know better than me though

Cheers for your reply, I am sure it is not CV joint i have had them go before and it is not that sort of noise.

Does not seem to make any knocking whilst on full lock or going straight (unless going over a bumpy road)

most prominanat when stationary and wiggling the steering wheel. as I said it is only a slight knock but i am hot sure if it normal or not.
