Cts Tracking

Does anyone else find that the tracking in the rolla seems to be crap, l had had mine done not long ago using the laser system and it worked fine for a few months now it seems to be getting crap again

All l do is drive it around noramly, giving it a little thrash when needed <so all the time :P :D > and park it on a curb at very slow speed and coming off the curb a slow speed.

l was wondering if this was just a characteristic of the car ??

p.s. Does anyones front driver side brake disk squeak at slow speed, l have install new disk brakes and pads (Black Dimond) they have been in for about 6K miles. l think its a bit if something caught between the pad and disk, or could it be because the tracking is out ?

that squeak from your brakes is probably a stone or something caught in the dust shield. - 90% of the time this is what causes the squeak. either that or wheel bearing but thats unlikely.

not had a problem with my tracking, although i would check your ball joints to see if they are worn. If you didn't replace them before you had your first laser tracking done they would misalign soon after

you need a ball joint separator but they are straight forward to change. ironically the way they wear out the most is by the suspension going up and down, so driving it up your kerb isn't going to help matters but given the low speed i wouldn't expect it to go off.

I should just point out, every car i have ever owned has drifted left! I suspect its the camber of the roads.
