Hi everyone, just a quick post to introduce myself as a new member!

I sold my 1998 Celica ST last week, and now have a 2004 Avensis D4D T3-X. Its quite a different car to drive and still can't quite get used to the diesel's rev range. I'm doing a lot more business miles now, so this seemed to be a better bet than the aging celica.

I do still miss it a little tho...

The Avensis is much more comfortable and easy to live with tho.

Not planning on doing much with this one, except maybe a CD changer in the boot and some brighter headligh bulbs. Quite fancy going to JAE too, as I have gone in the past with celica club UK.

Damn. That must have hurt to part with - especially for a tractor ;)

Have to ask though, why brighter headlights? Some of the results are painful to have coming at you.

My pet hate is the new Range Rover - it appears to have the eddystone lighthouse strapped to the front bumper and is at direct eye level for the average saloon driver. But as this is a 4WD the driver won't give a t0ss about anyone else anyway..

Welcome to Avensis corner.
